I am a professionally trained, highly skilled, experienced psychotherapist, Focusing trainer, EMDR practitioner and supervisor in the Flatiron area in NYC. In private practice since 1991, my specialties include depression, anxiety, trauma, sleep and creativity.
Trained in relational self psychology (inspired by Heinz Kohut), I seek to attend to each person's essential relational needs and experiences. I was certified as a trainer by the Focusing Institute in 1998 and the EMDR International Association in 2000 and have also received advanced training in clinical hypnosis.
I am a faculty member and supervisor for the the Focusing Oriented Psychotherapy Program and the Experiential Psychotherapy Programs. My specialties include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, sleep problems, and creativity-related issues. I am trained in Relational Self-Psychology, Focusing and EMDR.
